How To Make The Status Bar On The Galaxy S4 Transparent (I9500 & I9505)

Looking to get a sleeker look for your Samsung Galaxy S4? Well a transparent status bar will do just that, as it make the status bar less noticeable in whatever task you are doing. This tutorial will work for the international I9500 varaint as well as the I9505. Please make sure your device is one of these by checking in your settings. This tutorial will not work for any other variants other than these 2. That being said, let’s get right into it.

Instructions:

  1. Transfer the files from your computer to device (remember where they are!)
  2. Remove the USB cable
  3. Boot into recovery mode by holding volume up, home button, and power button
  4. If you are coming from a different ROM, wipe all user data and cache
  5. Navigate to Install Zip > Install Zip from Internal SD card > Navigate to where youdownloaded the .zip file > Select
  6. Your done! Reboot and enjoy!
